HELP / COSTS & LIMITS

Understand credits and request costs

See what is charged, how empty results work and what happens after a failure.

Count successful operations

Static page extraction, contact discovery, product data and YouTube metadata use one credit per successful request. JavaScript page rendering (where available), web, news and video search use five credits per successful request. A search followed by extraction of two pages therefore uses seven credits if all three requests succeed.

A completed request can contain no matching search results, contacts or products. That successful empty response is charged at the operation’s normal rate. A failed or blocked request uses zero credits.

Check a reserved credit

pageflock reserves credits while work is running. If the work fails, the reservation is restored. Interrupted work is reconciled by maintenance; check its final state in Activity or Collections before submitting it again.

Replaying a request creates fresh work when you choose Run. A second successful request is charged again. Cancelling a collection stops work that has not begun; a page already running may finish successfully and use its credit.

Choose a monthly plan for your workload

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Each successful monthly payment adds the plan’s credits and opens the next usage period; unused credits roll over while your account remains open. If you run out mid-period, Billing offers a one-time usage top-up at your plan’s price per 1,000 credits. Choose credits with the slider or enter an amount and pageflock keeps the two values synchronized. The allowance does not reset on an unpaid renewal. Your paid subscription determines current rate and concurrency limits.

The workload calculator combines your monthly one-credit requests and five-credit searches, then selects one plan that covers that volume. Workloads over the largest self-service plan need an Enterprise quote. Estimates exclude tax, starter credits and your existing balance. New subscriptions can start only when checkout is available.

Use Manage subscription in Plans & billing to update your payment method or cancel. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the current paid period. One subscription can run at a time; to change plans, end the current plan first. Refresh status checks Stripe without charging again; Cancel pending checkout lets you clear an unfinished checkout.
