The terms, clearly.

The rules for using pageflock’s website, workspace and API. Read these with the Privacy Notice and Acceptable Use Policy.

01

Your agreement and account

These terms apply between you and the operator below. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorised to bind any organisation you act for. Provide accurate account information, protect passwords and keys, and notify support of suspected unauthorised access. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms.

02

What pageflock provides

pageflock fetches permitted public pages and extracts text, links and metadata, and provides web, news and video search. Browser rendering and bounded page actions are available when enabled for the deployment. Collections process batches or follow links within one website origin when a worker is available. Source policies, robots.txt, network restrictions and account limits apply. Login scraping and access-control bypass are excluded. Source content can change, be incomplete or be unavailable; check it before relying on it.

03

Credits, plans and limits

Customer access requires a paid subscription; invited internal team members may have an owner-managed allowance. Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed on a monthly or annual basis from the day you subscribe. One successful static-page extraction or web search uses one credit; failed or blocked work uses zero. Interrupted reservations are reconciled by maintenance. New successful requests each use credits. Replaying the same operation and inputs with the original Idempotency-Key within its 24-hour retention period does not charge for another acquisition. Purchased subscription credits do not expire while your account remains active and roll over each period. Capacity limits (ranging from 30 up to 1,000 requests per minute and 2 to 100 simultaneous requests) apply across the workspace, keys and workers; splitting traffic across keys does not increase them.

04

Subscriptions, renewals, cancellation and refunds

Prices appear on Pricing in USD; applicable taxes are disclosed at checkout. Paid plans are recurring subscriptions that automatically renew on your billing anniversary (monthly or annually) from the date of subscription. Manage payment details and cancellation through Settings and Plans & billing. You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your workspace settings without penalty; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and stops future renewals, with access to your remaining credits preserved. Within 14 days of an initial subscription or renewal charge, you may request a monetary refund through support provided your balance has not fallen below the credits added for that billing cycle. Failed-work credit reconciliation is automatic and independent of subscription refunds. Closing your account does not refund a credit balance. Mandatory consumer statutory rights remain unaffected.

05

Your content and source rights

You retain the rights you already hold in submitted content and permit pageflock to process it to carry out your requests and operate the service. Extraction does not transfer ownership of third-party content or grant a licence to reuse it. You are responsible for the purpose, authority and lawfulness of collection and downstream use. pageflock’s software and branding remain with their respective rights holders.

06

Suspension and ending use

You can stop using pageflock at any time. Cancel your subscription through Plans & billing before the next renewal to stop future charges. Account closure in Settings may require the subscription to finish first. Export needed results before closing the account. Access may be restricted for abuse, a compromised account, unlawful activity or threats to the service. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the restriction and how to resolve it. If we permanently end paid access for reasons unrelated to your breach, contact support for return of unused purchased credits.

07

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care in providing the service but do not promise uninterrupted availability, access to every website or accurate third-party content. No service-level guarantee applies unless separately agreed. Keep reasonable backups and validate results before consequential decisions. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. These terms impose no additional contractual liability cap.

08

Changes and disputes

Material changes will be communicated before taking effect where required, so you can decide whether to continue. Contact the operator to resolve questions or disputes. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration or exclusive choice of court; rights and jurisdiction under applicable law remain available.

Providers, locations and transfers

pageflock is operated by HYVE LABS LLC and hosted on Google Cloud Platform (application, collection worker and PostgreSQL database in the EU region europe-west1; some Google services may process data in the United States). Payments are handled by Stripe on its hosted checkout; card details are collected and stored by Stripe, never by pageflock. Optional web, news and video search sends your query and country/language to Serper (serper.dev). Transactional email (verification and purchase receipts) is delivered through Resend. Optional, consent-based product analytics use Google Analytics. YouTube metadata requests use Google public oEmbed. These processors act under their own terms; where personal data is transferred internationally they rely on their own standard contractual clauses and safeguards.

Payment record retention

Paid and expired checkout records (checkout identifiers, amounts, credits and dates) are kept, separately from your account profile, for at least five years after the transaction to meet UAE tax and accounting obligations. Encrypted database backups are retained for up to 30 days before rotation. Account request history is pruned after 30 days and collection results after seven days.
