FIELD NOTES / PRACTICAL GUIDE

Build a useful collection.

Gather pages as a batch or a crawl, inspect individual results and export the dataset while it is available.

STEP 01

Pick a collection mode

Open Collections in the workspace. Use Batch when you have the exact URLs; use Crawl to follow permitted links starting from a page on one website. A crawl stays within that exact origin and your chosen page limit.

STEP 02

Give it a name and a boundary

Choose a name you will recognise. Paste your source URLs and stay within the page count shown for your paid plan. Plan limits are listed on Pricing. Creation is unavailable when no healthy collection worker is connected.

STEP 03

Follow the results

Create the collection. Work continues when the tab closes, while a worker is available. Open it to see each page’s result or error. Only successful pages use credits. Cancellation stops pending work; the current request may need to finish.

STEP 04

Download before expiry

Results expire seven days after the collection was created. Export JSON for your application or CSV for a spreadsheet; check the individual page outcomes before analysis. Once finished, delete the collection if you no longer need it. An account export includes collection history, not its saved page bodies.
