Check the original HTML
pageflock’s page and contact extraction read static HTML. The content you see in a browser may have arrived later through JavaScript, a login session or an embedded widget. Inspect the page’s original source to check whether the required text is actually present.
Page extraction offers optional JavaScript rendering only where the service has passed its browser isolation check. Use render: true, with an optional wait_ms of 0–3000 and wait_for CSS selector. Add screenshot: true for a bounded full-page PNG. Use actions for up to 20 safe click, fill or scroll steps. Unavailable rendering returns 503 with no charge. Contact extraction and collections remain static; arbitrary JavaScript, downloads, logins and AI extraction are not supported.
Match the endpoint to the source
Product data reads published Product JSON-LD in the original HTML, with up to 20 products and 20 offers per product. Missing fields remain null. Select Amazon, Walmart or Shopee to use a dedicated public-product parser with field provenance. Provide a full product URL. These parsers do not search marketplaces, bypass unavailable pages or infer prices. Walmart has passed a live page check; Amazon and Shopee remain limited by the public data the source returns.
YouTube metadata starts with public embed details and may add exact public views, likes and comments through a dedicated YouTube Data API key, plus description, related videos and a permitted public caption transcript. Video search uses Serper for discovery and one batched YouTube request for public counts when configured. Dislikes are private on YouTube; unavailable counts stay null. Neither tool downloads the video file.
Use a supported public source
A policy refusal, robots.txt restriction, login requirement or private network destination is a blocked request. Check the error and use a permitted public source. Repeated attempts or extra keys do not change that boundary.
If a successful response lacks information, retain the missing value as missing in your application. Choose another public source or your own authorized data feed rather than treating a guessed value as extracted evidence.
